What we collect
Almost nothing. The Hill Story is a read-only news site. We do not require accounts, we have no login, and we do not ask for your name, email, or phone number to read anything we publish.
What our infrastructure sees
Like every website, our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard technical data needed to serve pages — IP address, browser type, and requested URLs. This is used for delivering the site, security, and aggregate performance measurement, not for building profiles of readers.
Cookies
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. We do not run third-party ad networks or social-media trackers.
When you contact us
If you reach out — on X, Telegram, or via the contact page — we see what you send us. Tips and reports are used solely for editorial verification. We do not publish a source's identity, and we do not sell or share contact information with anyone.
External links
Stories link to original official sources (government handles, press releases, news reports). Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.
Changes
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new date. Material changes will be noted in our Corrections & Updates log — the same transparency we apply to our journalism.
