Current Summary
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has sanctioned three new train services following an initiative by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, two of which directly serve Uttarakhand. The Haridwar–Okha Express and the Haridwar–Veraval Express will operate through Rajasthan via Alwar, Jaipur, Ajmer and Abu Road, giving passengers from these Rajasthan cities new rail connectivity to Haridwar as well as to Gujarat.
