According to a September 23 Pioneer Edge report, IIM Kashipur began construction of its Dehradun campus at Sudhowala with a foundation stone laying ceremony attended by Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan and IIM Kashipur director Neeraj Dwivedi. The institute holds around five acres at Sudhowala and is initially building a pre-built facility with classrooms and office space, executed by the Central Public Works Department. Director Dwivedi said the facility will initially support the institute's executive MBA, executive education and management development activities, and will house the Foundation for Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development (FIED), an incubation centre for entrepreneurship in Uttarakhand. Bardhan said the facility will expand the institute's presence and contribute to education and development in the state. Dwivedi said the campus would be developed further in phases, with undergraduate or integrated management programmes possible in the longer term, subject to academic plans.
